Today we woke up to snow but decided to venture to Ty Mawr Country Park anyway to let Winter visit for the first time. It was really quiet which is good as the centre has a relatively small car park that can get really busy, the centre has an onsite shop and takeaway cafe. Ty Mawr also has a small farm onsite where they look after a number of animals including chickens, pigs, goats, ducks, donkeys and sheep. Its great for kids as well as dogs.
The main path is a circular route which is paved so can be walked in any condition, just like today with the snow and rain. There are a number of walks that also go off the main route, one of which leads along the River Dee to the Aqueduct.
Overall Winter had great fun meeting some new animals and catching bubbles along the River Dee. Would recommend as a great place to walk, check out the pictures below!
